The Henry Lawson Way is a sealed rural road that links Forbes, situated on the Newell Highway, to Young, situated on the Olympic Highway in the central western region of New South Wales, Australia. The road is named in honour of Henry Lawson (1867 – 1922), an Australian writer and poet, who was born in a town on the Grenfell goldfields, located adjacent to the modern-day rural road. ==Route== From the northwest, the Henry Lawson Way reaches its western terminus in Forbes at the junction of the Newell Highway with Camp Street, which becomes Bridge Street before it crosses Lake Forbes. The road continues east, sharing its route with the Lachlan Valley Way, as it turns south on Flint Street, then east on Reymond Street to cross the Lachlan River, where it turns south as the Lachlan Valley Way and the Henry Lawson Way concurrency terminates near Red Bend. The Henry Lawson Way continues south southeast along relatively flat countryside, crossing the Bundaburrah Creek and Ooma Creek, before it forms concurrency with the Mid-Western Highway west of and the concurrent road heads east into the town of Grenfell. In Grenfell, the concurrency terminates as the Henry Lawson Way heads south east as the B64 towards Young through highly undulating countryside. The final in Young is concurrent with the Olympic Highway where it reaches its eastern terminus at Boorowa Street west.
